With over six years of experience, I specialise in tutoring Latin and Classics for students aged 13+ through to MA degree level. My approach is tailored to each pupil’s needs, whether they require support through the GCSE Latin syllabus, preparation for the Westminster Scholarship in Latin and Greek, or guidance for Oxbridge Classics entrance exams. I have a strong track record of helping state-school pupils achieve excellent results in GCSE Latin, often on a one-to-one basis, and have successfully prepared A Level students with no prior Latin or Greek for competitive university applications. Additionally, I covered the maternity leave of a Head of Latin at a top prep school in the north of England, demonstrating my adaptability and deep subject expertise. My teaching focuses on building confidence and fostering a genuine appreciation for classical languages and culture, ensuring students not only meet academic goals but also develop a lifelong passion for the subject.
