Gil Bertaz

Gil Bertaz is a private English tutor working with students across Reading and online, covering everything from KS3 comprehension right through to A-Level critical analysis. Gil places particular emphasis on essay technique — learning how to construct a clear argument, use evidence effectively, and write with precision. Students work through past paper questions under exam conditions, then receive detailed feedback on how to improve structure, style and analysis. Past students have praised Gil's ability to make complex texts feel accessible and to give honest, constructive feedback that actually makes a difference to grades.
