Sec Retary

Based in Reading, Sec Retary is a dedicated private Maths tutor who works with students from primary level through to A-Level, helping them build genuine confidence with numbers. Sec tailors every session to the student's exam board — whether AQA, Edexcel, OCR or WJEC — and works through past papers alongside core topic revision. The focus is always on building genuine understanding rather than rote memorisation, so students can tackle unseen questions with confidence. Past students have gone on to achieve grade 7, 8 and 9 at GCSE, and A and A* grades at A-Level. Several have used Maths as a springboard into degrees in engineering, economics and data science.
