Christopher Hack

I am a professional Physics, Maths and Computing tutor with over 10 years of experience, based in Oxfordshire. My passion for these subjects started at school, and I now enjoy helping young people discover their own enthusiasm for them. I hold an MA in Education (Distinction) and a degree in Experimental and Theoretical Physics from the University of Cambridge. My teaching career includes leading the Physics department at two of the UK’s most successful private schools—St Paul’s Girls’ School and Magdalen College School—where I supported students of all abilities to achieve outstanding results. I specialise in preparing students for Oxbridge entrance and have helped dozens secure places. My approach combines deep subject knowledge with a personalised, encouraging style, ensuring every pupil makes progress regardless of their starting point. Outside tutoring, I play violin and piano with my family and have a keen interest in Japanese culture. Lessons are available online and face-to-face in Oxfordshire.
