What's the fee structure?
TutorLab Pro is £29/month (or save 2 months with annual plans), with no per-invoice fee. Payments you record manually outside TutorLab have no processing fee. On every payment method through TutorLab, an all-in processing fee of 5% (0% on Pro) is added to the family's price on your own students.
Is VAT supported?
Yes. If you're VAT-registered, toggle VAT on your profile and invoices apply VAT at the standard 20%. Most tutors aren't registered and leave it off.
Do I need a separate payments account?
No. You set up TutorLab Payments inside TutorLab in about two minutes. Payouts go direct to your bank. TutorLab never holds your money.
Can I still send invoices as PDFs if parents don't want the card link?
Yes. Every invoice can be downloaded or emailed as a PDF, and you can record external payments manually.
