I am a Cambridge Computer Science and UCL graduate with over 10 years of tutoring experience, having taught more than 50 students across GCSE and A-Level subjects.

A particular focus of my teaching is helping students progress efficiently. Where appropriate, I work with students on accelerated programmes, covering the full A-Level curriculum and exam preparation on a substantially shorter timeline than the conventional two-year course. I have previously supported students in completing two-year A-Level content within approximately 6–9 months, depending on their starting point, pace and weekly lesson commitment.

My teaching is highly diagnostic. Students often know that they are struggling, but do not necessarily know exactly what they do not understand. Through targeted questioning, I identify whether the gap lies in understanding the question, the underlying concept, recognising when and why to apply it, or transferring knowledge to an unfamiliar problem.

Rather than simply reteaching an entire topic, I work from the specific point where understanding breaks down and build from there. Previous students have progressed from C/D grades to A/A*, with my focus being both strong conceptual understanding and independent problem-solving.
