How much does a BMAT tutor cost in the UK?

Current UK medicine and dentistry applicants should pay £0 for BMAT tutoring. BMAT is no longer used for current UK applications. Former BMAT universities, including Cambridge, now appear in the UCAT Consortium's current university list.

Old BMAT tutoring prices and preparation packages are historical. BMAT used to cover:

  • Section 1 Thinking Skills
  • Section 2 Scientific Knowledge and Applications
  • Section 3 Writing Task

Those question types are not the current UCAT format. The 2026 UCAT covers Verbal Reasoning, Decision Making, Quantitative Reasoning, Situational Judgement and runs from 13 July 2026 to 24 September 2026. Start with the UCAT Consortium's free official materials, check each target course's current requirements, and only pay for a current UCAT tutor if you need targeted help with pacing, strategy or a diagnosed weak subtest.
