Amelia POnline BTEC Health & Social Care tutor

Hi! I'm a qualified Further Education teacher with a PGDE and a degree in Sociology with Criminology. I'm also currently studying for a Master's in SEND Education, further developing my understanding of how to support learners with different needs and learning styles.

I teach Health & Social Care and Sociology, and I'm passionate about helping students build their confidence, develop their subject knowledge and achieve their goals in a friendly, supportive and relaxed learning environment. Whether you're preparing for exams, working on coursework or looking to strengthen your understanding, I'll tailor sessions to suit your individual needs and help you feel more confident in your abilities.

As part of my Sociology with Criminology degree, I explored women's football, focusing on hateful comments directed towards women in the sport. This reflects my wider interest in gender, inequality and social issues, which I love exploring through Sociology.

My approach is patient, encouraging and inclusive. I want every learner to feel comfortable asking questions, learning at their own pace and celebrating their progress. My aim is to make learning enjoyable, accessible and engaging while helping you reach your full potential.

I look forward to working with you and supporting you on your learning journey!
