BA Hons music degree from Dartington College of Arts; studied flute performance with Sebastian Bell at the Royal College of Music. Freelance orchestral career at home and abroad; teaching for over 35 years. Worked for Devon County Council from the 1990s to 2004 As I am a peripatetic woodwind teacher in schools all over Devon, specialising in conducting and directing the County Flute Choir with concert tours in France, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland. Since 2004 I have built a private teaching and consultancy practice in schools and private homes in and around Torbay; directs the flute choir at Torbay music centre
