Graham Rix

I am a G.G.S.M. graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, having studied there after receiving a Junior Exhibitioner's scholarship at the Royal College of Music at age 13. I hold the British Suzuki Level 5 diploma in Piano Pedagogy, the European Suzuki Association's final qualification after nine years of training across all five levels. My piano is my first study, with cello as my second instrument. I was a member of the contemporary ensemble Piano Circus for about five years, during which time we were artists in residence at Brunel University. I was a UK finalist in the 2012 International London Open Piano Competition and have won EPTA composing prizes (2014, 2015). I teach Suzuki piano to beginners and advanced students, both adults and children, including exam, competition and music scholarship preparation. I live in Kent near Eastry.
