Kate Conway

I am the founder-director of Suzuki Hub in Hackney, East London, and director of Suzuki in Schools, which runs 12 Suzuki violin programmes in London state schools. I also run the Hackney Proms charity. I perform professionally as a violinist in and around London, across classical and popular genres. Suzuki Hub teaches violin from age four and also offers baby and toddler classes, pairing weekly individual lessons with instrumental and musicianship groups. As a social enterprise I offer discounts and financial aid to lower-income households. I hold Suzuki teacher-training Level 5 qualification per the London Suzuki Group list. Weekly 30 minute individual lessons cost £24.50 (hourly equivalent £49).
