Engineering, Physics, Astrophysics and related degrees at leading universities typically require A or A* in Physics. Oxbridge Physics requires A*A*A or A*AA. Many Computer Science degrees at top universities prefer or require Physics A-Level.

A-Level Physics doesn't just test whether students know equations, it tests whether they can apply them to novel situations, combine multiple equations in one calculation, and reason from first principles. This is a learnable problem-solving skill, not an innate ability.

The option modules are sparsely covered in class
