About me
I’m an experienced English and Reading Comprehension tutor who believes children learn best when lessons are tailored to their individual needs. I begin by identifying each pupil’s strengths and areas for improvement, then adapt my teaching pace and activities to help them learn with confidence.
My lessons are interactive and practical. I encourage pupils to think, explain their answers and apply what they learn rather than simply memorising information. I use guided practice, questioning, annotation and age-appropriate activities to develop reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar and writing skills.
My aim is to make learning enjoyable while helping each pupil become a more confident and independent learner.
