About

I’m Andrew Terruli, a dedicated A-Level and GCSE Biology tutor based in London, with over 20 years’ experience teaching in secondary schools and sixth-form colleges. A graduate of Edinburgh University Medical School with a BSc in Medical Sciences and a PGCE in Secondary Sciences, I hold Qualified Teacher Status and am fully DBS certified. My teaching career has included roles as a KS3 Science Coordinator and subject master, giving me deep insight into exam boards like AQA, OCR and Edexcel. I specialise in helping students master Biology at GCSE and A-Level, particularly those preparing for private entry exams or struggling with endorsed practicals—many of which I can demonstrate in your home. My approach focuses on building confidence and independence, breaking down exam papers to show exactly how to structure answers for top marks. Whether it’s one-to-one tutoring, UCAS statement reviews or mock interviews, I tailor sessions to each student’s needs. I also develop self-assessment [contact details removed] to support independent learning. Based in London, I offer flexible tuition—online or in-person—helping students across the capital achieve their potential in Biology.
