With almost 20 years of teaching experience, I am a qualified primary teacher and senior leader in a London primary school, offering professional, personalised tuition for children aged 5–11.

I specialise in 11+ and independent school entrance preparation, SATs, Primary English and Maths, and verbal and non-verbal reasoning.

My teaching is friendly, engaging and tailored to each child. I take the time to understand their individual needs, identify areas for development and build their confidence alongside their academic skills.

Alongside my teaching, I have taken on leadership responsibilities within a London primary school, giving me a broad understanding of the curriculum, assessment and the different ways children learn and develop.

I pride myself on being approachable, patient and encouraging. I want children to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and challenging themselves without feeling under pressure. I believe that building a positive relationship with a child is just as important as the academic content of a lesson.

Every child is different, and I enjoy finding the approach that works best for each individual. Whether a child needs reassurance and support, is working towards a particular goal, or simply needs to be stretched further, I aim to make every session purposeful, engaging and enjoyable.

Most importantly, I want children to leave each lesson feeling that they have learned something new, achieved something they didn't think they could and are one step closer to reaching their goals.
