I am an experienced and dedicated primary school teacher with several years of experience teaching children across Years 4–6. I have taught children from a wide range of backgrounds, abilities and starting points, and I am passionate about creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment where every child feels valued, understood and able to succeed.

I have particular expertise in the KS2 English and Maths curriculum, including supporting children to develop their core knowledge, strengthen their understanding and prepare confidently for assessments such as SATs. I understand that every child learns differently, so I carefully adapt my teaching, explanations, activities and pace to meet each child’s individual needs.

Building confidence is at the heart of my approach. I aim to make learning positive, engaging and enjoyable, helping children overcome areas they may find challenging while celebrating their progress and successes. I use clear explanations, modelling, questioning and practical examples to help children develop a secure understanding rather than simply memorising answers.

As a classroom teacher, I have extensive experience identifying gaps in learning and putting targeted support in place to help children make progress. I am also experienced in supporting children who lack confidence in particular subjects, breaking concepts down into manageable steps and encouraging them to become increasingly independent learners.

I am kind, patient, compassionate and approachable, while maintaining high expectations for every child. I believe that with the right support, encouragement and teaching approach, all children can make progress and develop a genuine love of learning.
