About me

I’m Kurt, a qualified secondary English teacher (QTS) with a degree in English and Linguistics and specialist experience working with children and young people with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), SEMH and complex SEND.

I specialise in supporting learners who may struggle with traditional education. My approach is calm, patient and person-centred, adapting the pace, communication and teaching style around the individual.

Alongside academic progress, I focus on confidence, engagement and helping young people develop a more positive relationship with learning.

I can support English, literacy, functional skills, individual learning goals and learners who require significant adaptations to access education.
