Law admissions tutoring and undergraduate law essay feedback by Oxford first-class graduate
Hi, I'm Rodrigo. I graduated in Law from the University of Oxford with a First-Class degree and a prize in Comparative Law.
I work with both current law students and those aiming to study the law at university.
My aim and focus is on getting my students to a point in their education where they feel in control. That, of course, means understanding the material. But it means something more important still: it means understanding how to make the best use of the material they have learned. This was one of the most important lessons I learned at Oxford: the most successful students were not those who knew the most, but those who made the most effective use of what they knew.
That is why written feedback sits at the heart of how I work with university students. By marking my students' essays in detail, I make sure they get a precise picture of what exactly is holding their work back and how to fix it.
It is also why I like to conduct tutorial-style sessions with those students preparing for admission into university law courses. My methods expose them directly to the challenges they will face in interviews and LNAT essays.
With this focus on practising the actual skills that will be tested in exams or interviews, I've seen huge gains in confidence, going from students feeling overwhelmed by challenges they thought too difficult to approaching exams with sharp analysis and effective use of time.
If it sounds like this is what you need, reach out and let’s get to work.
