SB Tutoring

I am an award-winning private tutor based in Woking, Surrey, providing bespoke, friendly and approachable educational support for students from Year 7 upwards in mathematics and sciences. With over a decade of experience, I specialise in GCSE, A-Level Biology, Geography and PE, as well as 13+ entrance exams and Functional Skills. My tutoring has been recognised with multiple awards, including Professional Tutor of the Year 2022, Home School Tutor of the Year 2023 and SEN Tutor of the Year 2024. Enhanced DBS checked and a Fellow Member of the Tutors' Association, I have extensive experience working with neurodivergent and SEND students, including those in elective home education, EOTAS and alternative provision. Previously a Lead Clinical Physiologist and UK National Governance Manager in healthcare, I now apply my industry expertise to help young people overcome barriers to education, higher education and employment. My teaching philosophy focuses on tailoring lessons to each student's needs, whether boosting grades, confidence or independent learning. I offer flexible tuition to support home education or complement existing schooling.
