AI parent reports for GCSE tutors
Generate termly parent reports that actually show progression — grade boundaries, mock results, topic coverage and a specific plan for the next term. In under a minute, not an evening.
No card required. £29/month after trial — or £24/month on yearly billing.
Where most tutors lose hours every week
The admin around teaching tends to eat more time than the teaching itself. These are the exact problems TutorLab is built to solve.
Every report reads the same
If you write three reports on a Saturday, by the third one it's all "working hard" and "continuing to improve." Parents notice.
Grade projections are a guess
Parents want to know: "Are we on a 6, 7 or 8?" Most tutors hedge because they don't want to commit. Useful but vague = not useful.
Reports eat Sunday afternoons
A proper report per student per term is 30 minutes. With 15 students that's 7.5 hours per term, often in one unpaid session.
How TutorLab helps
Every feature is designed around a UK tutor's working week.
Pulls from your actual lesson history
TutorLab builds the report from the lessons you've logged in the app — so every paragraph is specific to what this student did, not a template.
Grade trajectory based on mock performance
Log a mock result and TutorLab works out the current grade band with a clear explanation parents understand.
Done in a minute, not 30

Sample parent report — GCSE Maths, Year 11, end of spring term
"This term [student] has worked through algebraic manipulation, quadratic equations, sequences, and the core of the geometry unit (Pythagoras, trigonometry, circle theorems). The most noticeable improvement has been in multi-step algebra — earlier this term problems involving negative coefficients were often abandoned mid-question; in the last three weeks they have been attempted and solved. In the March mock (AQA Foundation Paper 2), [student] scored 68/80, placing them on a secure Grade 5 with movement towards Grade 6. The main area for summer-term work is statistics — particularly tree diagrams and cumulative frequency — which have not yet been covered, and problem-solving questions combining algebra and geometry. We will sit a second mock in late April and focus the final weeks on exam technique and timing."

Common questions
Does the AI make up data about my students?
No. Reports are built only from lessons you've logged in TutorLab plus any mock results you've entered. If you haven't logged anything, the AI tells you it can't generate a useful report yet.
Can I edit the report before sending?
Yes. The report opens in a text editor — you adjust anything, then export to PDF or copy to email.
Does this work for Foundation and Higher tier reports?
Yes. The AI adapts the grade-band discussion to the tier — Foundation reports frame progression as 3/4/5, Higher as 6/7/8/9.
