About

Based in Derby, Derbyshire Pony Trekking is a dedicated private Maths tutor who works with students from primary level through to A-Level, helping them build genuine confidence with numbers. Lessons with Derbyshire are relaxed but focused. Students are encouraged to ask questions freely, and worked examples are used throughout to show concepts in action. Homework is set when appropriate to reinforce classroom learning and track progress between sessions. Students consistently report improved grades and — more importantly — a shift in their attitude towards the subject. Many arrive feeling anxious about Maths and leave with the tools and confidence to tackle any question the exam throws at them. Lessons are available after school, at weekends and during school holidays. Get in touch to discuss availability and arrange a no-obligation introductory session.
