About

I am an experienced English tutor based in Royal Tunbridge Wells, specialising in GCSE and A-Level English. With a BA, PGCE, and NPQH from Cambridge, I bring a deep understanding of the curriculum and examination requirements to my teaching. My approach is personalised, ensuring each student is challenged, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential. Over the past decade, I have worked as both a teacher and examiner, giving me unique insights into what examiners look for. I focus on building confidence alongside academic skills, helping students not just pass exams but truly excel. My lessons are tailored to individual needs, whether that’s refining essay writing, improving analysis, or preparing for university applications. I take pride in seeing my students achieve their goals, from top grades to securing places at prestigious schools like Wilson and Sevenoaks. Based locally, I offer face-to-face and online tuition to students across Kent and beyond.
