Hi, I’m Mehvish! I’m a GCSE and A-Level Mathematics specialist with over 10 years of tutoring experience and more than 6,000 hours of teaching.

I hold a BSc in Mathematics and have experience across private tuition, homeschooling and college teaching. Over the years, I’ve worked with students across a wide range of abilities, from those struggling with confidence and foundational concepts to high-achieving students working towards Grades 8–9 and A/A*.

My teaching style is friendly, patient and highly personalised. I take time to understand each student’s current level, areas of difficulty and target grade before tailoring lessons around their individual needs.

My priority is always genuine understanding. I break challenging concepts into clear, manageable steps and encourage students to understand why a method works rather than simply memorising it. Once the foundations are secure, I place a strong emphasis on exam technique, problem-solving and past-paper practice.

I have a strong track record of helping students make significant academic progress, including students who have improved by several grades. I’ve also developed my own GCSE Maths past-paper resource featuring detailed explanations and fully worked solutions.

My online lessons are interactive and engaging, using a digital whiteboard and screen sharing to work through questions together in real time.

Most importantly, I aim to create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and ultimately becoming confident, independent mathematicians.
