About

With over six years of experience tutoring maths in Edinburgh, I specialise in helping students overcome challenges and achieve their potential. My approach is patient and tailored to each learner’s needs, whether they’re preparing for National 5, Higher, Advanced Higher, GCSE, AS or A-Level exams. I’ve supported students who initially struggled to secure top grades, including one who went from a predicted Nat 4 to achieving an A in National 5. My lessons focus on building confidence through clear explanations and targeted practice, ensuring students grasp core concepts rather than just memorising procedures. Many of my students have progressed to further education in competitive fields like medicine, testament to the depth of my subject knowledge. I also work with adult learners looking to refresh their skills or prepare for university entry. Based in Edinburgh, I offer flexible online tutoring to suit busy schedules, with a commitment to making maths accessible and enjoyable. Feedback consistently highlights my dedication, adaptability and ability to simplify complex topics.
