About

Polly Phillips has been tutoring Maths privately for students of all ages and abilities throughout Edinburgh and online, building a reputation for clear explanations and excellent results. Lessons with Polly are relaxed but focused. Students are encouraged to ask questions freely, and worked examples are used throughout to show concepts in action. Homework is set when appropriate to reinforce classroom learning and track progress between sessions. Students consistently report improved grades and — more importantly — a shift in their attitude towards the subject. Many arrive feeling anxious about Maths and leave with the tools and confidence to tackle any question the exam throws at them. Online sessions are conducted via Zoom or Google Meet with a shared digital whiteboard, making distance no barrier to great tuition. Contact Polly today to book a trial lesson.
