“Rose has been the most amazing tutor to work with for our daughter. Gabrielle was doing IB HL Chemistry and really struggling. The teacher was not very encouraging and Gabrielle was not sure what to do. We found Rose and it was a total change. Rose learned how Gabrielle learned and really explained things to her. “My daughter has been working with Rose for about 15 months. Initially my daughter was enrolled in an IB program in Bali but due to unforeseen circumstances we had to move to Guam. IB HL Chemistry is no joke and balancing all other 5 demanding subjects I found myself struggling with the syllabus and getting very overwhelmed with the amount of content and difficulty of the subject. Within the first few sessions with Rose, I was able to understand topics that I had been struggling with for months, specific techniques and exam methods that in school teachers would lack, Rose would explain and make it very clear on how to approach in an exam setting. “When I started taking IB Chemistry SL in my first year in IB, I was completely overwhelmed and struggled to study. I was unsure how to improve my grades since paying attention in class and studying at home was never enough. When I looked for a tutor, I picked Rose and was immediately happy about my decision. “When I started the IBDP at a school that had never taught the curriculum before, I felt completely lost in chemistry. Teachers were still adapting to the syllabus, and I was unable to understand key concepts. By DP2, I realised I had massive gaps in my understanding.
