I teach traditional Scottish and Irish harp music on the wire-strung Irish harp, offering one-to-one tuition in person or online. I have been based in Armagh since 2018, about an hour from Belfast. From the very beginning of my studies I was asked to teach the harp, and I have developed online video lessons since 2002. My teaching is based on the work of Sylvia Crawford, using traditional Irish harp fingering techniques. I have collaborated with Siobhán Armstrong on developing wire-strung Irish harp playing in Ireland. I apply my formal training in archaeology and physics to harp research, and I have publications, concerts and lectures to my name. I make rental harps available and provide advice on acquiring a wire-strung Irish harp.
