About me

I am a fully qualified secondary science teacher with over 20 years of classroom experience, specialising in GCSE and A-Level Chemistry and Physics. I have also provided one-to-one tuition for many years, both online and in person.


My approach is based on developing genuine understanding rather than simply teaching students what to memorise. I break difficult concepts into clear, logical steps and help students apply their knowledge to unfamiliar problems.


I work with students across a wide range of abilities, from those who need to build confidence and address gaps in their understanding to those aiming for the highest grades. I place a strong emphasis on problem-solving and examination technique so that students can turn their understanding into marks.
