I’m a scientist and academic mentor specialising in IGCSE Science, A-Level Chemistry and undergraduate Life Sciences.
I hold a PhD in Experimental Medicine from McGill University and spent five years as a researcher at Harvard Medical School, followed by more than a decade in biotechnology and cancer research. My research has included mass spectrometry, proteomics and cancer target discovery, with publications in journals including Cell, Nature Methods and Molecular Cell.
I bring that scientific background into my teaching, helping students develop genuine understanding rather than simply memorising material. My approach combines clear explanation, rigorous questioning and exam-focused application, while encouraging students to become increasingly independent in how they approach difficult problems.
I work particularly well with ambitious students who want to strengthen their understanding, improve their exam performance, or prepare for demanding university pathways in medicine, dentistry and the sciences.
I currently teach IGCSE Triple Science, A-Level Chemistry and university-level Biochemistry and Life Sciences through Aguiar Science Academy.
